Now it is mandatory for all tank terminals, depots, refineries to undergo regular ultrasonic thickness testing of tanks, pipelines and submit regular reports. Also mandatory is to have proper ultrasonic pipeline and tank shell (side shell, bottom, roof) thickness reports with identification layout, fire safety layouts, fire hydrant layouts, P & I disagrams (shown below) with all pipeline and valve nomenclatures properly defined and in a layout.
